If you think only people with “black money” or people who are criminals, open off shore bank accounts. Think again. There are many reasons why even you could need to open an off shore bank account.
Suppose you are a national of a country, whose government is financially unstable, in the event of a financial collapse, all your money in the bank would suffer. In such a case, it would be a wise decision to open an off shore account beforehand. So, even if there is a financial collapse in your country, your money will be protected and secure in an offshore bank.
If you constantly travel to another continent say Asia or Europe then opening an offshore bank account in Japan or England will be beneficial for you and a very smart move to make. Since currency exchange rates would suit you better if you have money in a “local” bank.
Contrary to popular belief, an offshore bank account is not illegal and not exclusive to fugitives. It may be a very good idea for you too.
