The Fine Print

To qualify for the bonus, you must open a new checking account, and deposit a minimum of $100 within 60 days of opening the account. This does not include any money that Chase bank currently holds, and obviously does not include the bonus. The checking account must then remain open for a minimum of six months. The bonus is limited to one checking account per customer and cannot be combined with any other offer.

Next, in order to qualify for the direct deposit bonus, on top of the $100 minimum opening deposit, your employer or the government must send Chase a monthly electronic direct deposit of your payroll or pension.

Finally, to receive the extra $25 for opening a savings account, you must open a savings account along with the checking account, and deposit a minimum of $500 into it within 60 days.
